Limp Bizkit "Still Sucks" Album (Review)

No "Stampede of the Disco Elephants" here, just "Still Sucks'.

Limp Bizkit dropped their new album "Still Sucks" on Halloween, without any warning. We have been waiting for a new album for a decade now. Their were reports that Limp Bizkit had been working on an album called "Stampede of the Disco Elephants", which never seen the light of day. Other reports said that Fred Durst was holding the album hostage until it was perfect.

I don't know if I would call this album perfect, but their are definitely some banging songs on this album. Most of the songs sound like they taken from past albums, which isn't a bad. Limp Bizkit has had some good albums, so to bring back that vibe is really cool. The only songs I really didn't care for were "Dad Vibes" and Limp Bizkit's cover of "Don't Change" by IXNS. "Dad Vibes" has a good beat to it, but the lyrics sound like hip-hop gibberish. Limp Bizkit's version of "Don't Change" is a stripped down acoustic cover that sound to much like their version of "Behind Blue Eyes: by Led Zeppelin.

The tracks that caught my attention were "Pill Popper", "You Bring Out The Worst In Me",  "Turn It Up, Bitch", "Out Of Style", "Dirty Rotten Bizkit", and "Barnacle". I loved "Barnacle" because it sound nothing like Limp Bizkit, it's a very heavy 90's grunge driven song. This album prove that Limp Bizkit still has it and guitarist Wes Borland is still the god of riffs.
