Clerks 3

 


Just because they serve you… Doesn't mean they like you.

So 27 years ago, Kevin Smith made a movie about two slackers that work at a Quick Stop. The Black and white movie turned into a cult classic and spawned a sequel in 2006. Now 2021, Kevin Smith is working on his 3rd installment of Clerks.

In Clerks 3, Randal has a heart attack asks fellow clerks Dante, Elias, Jay, and Silent Bob to help him makes a movie about his life. Randal's heart attack in the movie is based on director Kevin Smith' real life heart attack experience. Who's back? Brian O’Halloran as Dante, Jeff Anderson as Randal, Rosario Dawson as Becky, Jay Mewes as Jay, Kevin Smith as Silent Bob, and Trevor Fehrman as Elias.


While "Clerks" and "Clerks 2" were focused on Dante. Clerks 3 is more focused around Randal and his life crisis. Jay and Silent Bob now own the familiar RST Video that has been turned into RST THC. Meanwhile, Becky and Elias' character plots have not been revealed yet. The film will be produced by: Liz Destro and Jordan Monsanto. Kevin Smith has confirmed that My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way will score the film.


"There's a saying from the Tao that goes something like 'To be great is to go on. To go on is to go far. To go far is to return.' Thanks to Lionsgate, we get to return to where it all started with almost the whole cast that started it all!" Kevin Smith has stated.
