Keith the Critic Movie Reviews - Home Again
Sometimes, you just want to go home. Sometimes, you need to go home. Either way, when you get there, check out this review by Keith the Critic on "Home Again".
This comedy stars Reece Witherspoon as recently separated mother Alice Kenney. Alice's father was a great director and her mother was an actress. Following her separation, Alice moves back home to LA with her two daughters. While out celebrating her birthday, she meets three young men who are trying to promote the film they've made together. Harry, who is played by Pico Alexander, is the director, George (Jon Rudnitsky) is the writer, and Teddy (Nat Wolff) is the actor. Alice's mother, who is played by Candice Bergen, convinces Alice to let the three guys stay in her guest house.
All three take a liking to Alice and her girls and Alice and Harry begin a budding romance. Life becomes even more complicated when Alice's husband shows up unannounced.
I love Reece Witherspoon in so many roles and she was great in this one as well. She always gives a wonderful performance even when the script is bad. This script was really good however and was fabulously directed by Hallie Meyers-Shyer. Candice Bergen and the whole cast were terrific. It's a fun movie to watch and I think you'll enjoy it too.
I gave it 3 out of 4 stars.
