Hero Portal - Teenage Muntant Ninja Turtles Game Review

Infinity has met its match with Hero Portal

By now a lot of people know what Disney Infinity, or Skylanders are; or have at least seen them. Jakks Pacific's Hero Portal has done something similar, but to a whole new level.  This device allows children to interact with toys based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers, and DC super heroes for around $35 - $50.  However, you do not need a separate gaming console with the Hero Portal...it IS the console!

The game is an all-in-one gaming system that has RFID technology. All games are built the controller, so there is no gaming console needed. The Hero Portal Gaming System comes with a controller, portal base, 2 starter figures, 6 levels, 18 missions. You can also collect the Booster Packs that included 2 figures per pack that unlock additional characters, and more special missions.

I've played through the whole game, and I really enjoyed it, not just as a TMNT fan, but also as a gamer. The graphic are pretty decent.  There are some easy level, and some that are not.  The overall package is very family friendly. I'm looking forward to collecting the rest of the booster packs, and continuing the game. I give it a 4 outta 5!
